The Chief Minister Tony Brown MHK has announced proposals
for a major restructuring of Government Departments that
will be the most comprehensive change since the introduction
of the Ministerial system in 1986. As part of the changes
the Department of Tourism and Leisure will be disappearing,
with both the buses and railways coming under the new
Department of Community, Culture and Leisure. The changes
are due to take effect from April this year and it's hoped
that it will be 'business as usual' for the railways.
