Car 18

Double deck tram built by Metropolitan Railway Carriage & Wagon Co in 1883 for South Shields Tramway Company. Acquired second-hand by DCT in 1897 and rebuilt as a single deck in 1903. Subsequently rebuilt again as a double deck car in 1989 by DCT's own expert joiner Alec Corris

30 seat tram built by Milnes in 1892, forming part of the 27-29 class
