Friday, July 18, 2008 - Isle of Man Railways operated an 'official' re-opening car over the Manx Electric Railway's northern section between Laxey & Ramsey carrying invited guests and others, in readiness for the start of a passenger timetable the following day. The above two views show the car (winter saloon 19 and trailer 58) returning from Ramsey, at Ballaragh with a few passengers on board - the invited guets had returned to Laxey by special bus.
