Car 25 is seen here in 1993 during its last season of use. Apart from a brief spell as a Per Way Car in 1995, 25 has been stored out of service requiring a major overhaul, which has recently been shelved. (Photo A. Spencer)

Car 26 and Trailer 37 of were both repainted by members of the Manx Electric Railway Society during 1992 and 1993 respectively. 37 is one of only 2 survivors of the 1894 delivery of 6 trailers. 34, 35, 38 and 39 were all destroyed in the Laxey Depot fire of 1930. (Photo A. Spencer)

Since the early 1990s, Paddlebox 27 has been the dedicated Laxey based Poles and Wires Car. Modifications were made to 27's seating to provide mess facilities and its platforms were fitted with partitions and windscreens to give the crew some protection from the elements. 27 is seen here at Groudle in February 1994. The car has since been withdrawn and is currently in store. (Photo A. Spencer)
